I have decided that...

I have to undo all the basting and cut the pieces of the fabric smaller than I did.
I thought that size 44 would be small, but I was totally wrong. Sometimes I feel that I am not going to make it.
Other times I thing I was too ambitious in chooosing such top and that fabric as my first project.
I have to be persistent and try again. Or I'll put it away and start a new project, less ambitious and simpler?! I don't know, a straight sleeveless top?
Hummmmm...

I'm right, aren't I...?!

I have baste the top. And I managed that it fits toooo large, that is to say, two of me can get inside of it.

And I also managed to baste one of the sleeves inside out. It does not show in the picture, but it is there.

All I have to find now is a volunteer to try the blouse so that I can pin it all.
May be it will be my sister, as she is the same size as me.
At the end, the positive side is that is looks like a blouse, but in a XXXL size...

But...

What I really wanted was a "toy" like this.
It would help me so much and I would not have to baste on my knees...

A very small step

Yesterday I managed to find time and cut the fabric.
And I realised that I have to get a proper cutting scissor for fabric.

Then, and as far as my son allowed it and until I had to make dinner, I managed to do the 1st step of the instructions.
For now I just did the basting on the cups.

1st Challenge - Top 8043

I took the patterns on a PDF file from the site Burda Style. To do the download of the patterns and and the instructions it is necessary to register.
And that was what I did. The chosen model is the TARA 8043. Afterwards I printed and cut the sheets of paper. I placed the pattern on the fabric. The fabric is a leftover of a fabric thay my mom used to do a dress for me when I was a teenager.
For now I am still at this stage.

The beginning

I'm entering a new challenge in my life:

Recycle clothes that does not fit me anymore and do other clothers that fit me.

This blog will be the diary of my experiences, tests and attempts.
